SMFOI - Swedes with disabilities and the internet
SMFOI is - probably - the world's largest survey on digital accessibility for people with disabilities.
The way people use the internet, computers, phones and tablets is continuously investigated. But most surveys show almost nothing about what it is like for people with various disabilities.
Therefore, we have developed a methodology that we call "shadowing" the broad population surveys. The idea is to use other selection methods to reach the groups that are not represented in the broad surveys. We ask corresponding questions to these groups to see if there is a gap with the entire population.
We also want to investigate if there are differences between different groups and within each group.
